Budapestinfo Points

The touristic first-aid kit helping foreigners
Recently arrived in Budapest? Feeling a bit lost and ill at ease? Don’t worry, several Info Point offices are waiting for you in the city to help and provide information.
Are you arriving by plane? Then take it easy, Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport Terminal 2A and 2B both have a Budapestinfo Point office. Find maps and brochures, free publications and programme guides, while you can also purchase tickets and services, eg. guided tours. Their staff speak several languages and will be happy giving you some useful tips about Budapest. If you happen to have a Budapest Card voucher, it can be exchanged to an actual BP Card here, or at two other offices: Deák Ferenc Square Info Point (1052 Budapest, Sütő u. 2, accessible with metro lines 1, 2 and 3) and Ice Rink Building Info Point Heroes’ Square (1146 Budapest, Olof Palme sétány 5, accessible with metro line 1).

You can also find offices at Budavár Holy Trinity Square pavilion (1014 Budapest, Tárnok u.15, accessible by 16 bus) and Market Hall (1093 Budapest, Vámház körút 1–3, accessible by 47 and 49 tram). Popping by the following offices can also be helpful: Eastern Railway Station (Keleti) Information (especially useful when you arrive by train) and BKK Customer service offices (you can find them at the 3 main international railway stations and the more frequented metro stations).

And finally, don’t forget to use your intuition as well, and enjoy discovering the city!
