La Cage aux Folles is a place where everyone can be what they are. Or what they want to be. But what if you cannot show what you truly are? Faith, hope, love, work, family, country, yesterday, today, tomorrow, me, you – and us together. A spectacular performance directed by Róbert Alföldi.
The musical of Jerry Herman and Harvey Fierstein is based on a successful play by Jean Poiret which has received many Tony Awards in 1983 and was also adapted to the screen. The Hungarian version was directed by Róbert Alföldi in 2014 starring renowned Hungarian actors, and the public shows great interest in the performance ever since.
