Skyscraper

Former FBI agent and U.S. war veteran Will Sawyer (Dwayne Johnson) is going to be a security consultant at the Pearl, the world’s tallest building that houses a "city in the sky". It seems like a wonderful job until somebody sets the skyscraper on fire.
Sawyer suddenly finds himself in serious trouble as he is the suspect number one. Already a haunted man (after a botched hostage negotiation he had lost his leg in the past) now he has to save his wife and two kids who are trapped inside the building and also he must clear his name finding the real culprits.

Director Rawson Marshall Thurber and The Rock were working together on 'Central Intelligence' in 2016 and the idea came to them that it was time to show  Dwayne Johnson's dramatic side to the public, so they started to think about their next project. The result is 'Skyscraper' and we surely see a humanized version of The Rock, though that does't mean that we won't get our share of spectacular action too.
