Black Christmas
'Black Christmas' is far from being original: it was launched in cinemas in 1974 for the first time, and this remake is the second which has been made based on a basic slasher genre 'opus'.
Director Sophia Takal did not make a simple copy of the original version, she tried to modernize it a little and transform it into a real 2019 movie experience: the girls are not helpless victims, they are real amazons, fit to fight their cruel enemy. The snowy campus is a thrilling venue, the murderer can hide behind every corner. The Christmas break turns into a nightmare, and the girls' struggle is a race against time.
