Escape Plan 2: Hades
The previous Escape Plan movie was exciting, because two popular, iconic action heroes (Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger) were having fun together while trying to break free from the safest prison of the world. Unfortunately the sequel is far from being just as fun.
Escape Plan : Hades is a powerless remake, lacking real flavour and creativity. Stallone plays the role of security expert Ray Breslin again, and this time one of his pupils, operative Shu Ren gets imprisoned into an impenetrable, complex building, referred to as 'the zoo'. The prisoners there live by their own strict and cruel rules, every day they have a combat, and the winner gets prizes. Ray must track his operative down with the help of some of his former friends. Unfortunately the visuals, the dialogues, the music, everything indicates a weaker, B-list action movie, made 20 years before.
